Miss Teri regrets that, having been 'on the bevy' last night after work, and being of a more feckless nature than the phalanx of cousins in whose company she found herself, she attempted to walk along the top of a narrow brick wall, with a copy of Shakespeare's First Folio (from her Aunt's Library) balanced atop her head and wearing inappropriate shoes with stiletto heels, she, in the words of the
more sober witnesses, "took a tummel aff the toap o the wa' and landed in the gooseberry bush, she wiz that pished," as a result of which she is unable to submit her own work, today.
