The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread
Rozelle MacCaroon wins the Edinburgh and Lothians Black Bottom Championship 1924 in The City Halls, George Street, Edinburgh. The peple of Edinburgh turned out in the streets to show their Black Bottoms off to anyone who wanted to watch! It was the Best thing since Sliced Bread!
 
Pansy MacCaroon was a sure-fire favourite in the neighbourhood of Ramsay Garden and The Castle. She was described by one keen observer, Mr Archibald Glenfarquhar, Sliced Bread Salesman from Craigentinny, as she scampered up the rocks and The Castl;e Walls, as 'Sliced Bread on Legs'.

Pansy drives The Flying Scotsman to London, where she was a Guest of Honour at Buckinham Palace, where she played with the little Princesses, Elizabeth and Margaret:
